In recent years, cremation has become the choice of many people, and since 2019—when the first crematorium opened in Ritsona, Evia—the cremation process has been significantly simplified compared to previous years. Regardless of the reasons behind the family’s choice of cremation, our office, with its many years of experience, undertakes the entire process, including coordination with the crematorium and any additional arrangements required, always in consultation with and according to the wishes of the relatives.
The cost of cremation is covered by social insurance funds, as is the case with burials, depending on the amount covered by each respective fund. The cremation center operates in full compliance with current European and national environmental legislation and international standards, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment. There is also the option to organize farewell ceremonies, coffee receptions, and the scattering or safekeeping of the ashes.
